In general wheelchair users need an extra 1.5m to be able to enter or exit their car. Both on the sides as in the back. Now parking spaces for wheelchair users are marked in a color and with an icon. These spaces are bigger, but when a wheelchair user parks his/her car in the middle of the parking space, it is difficult to enter or exit the car. It would be better to have a marked parking space with normal dimension and a separate marking for the 1.5m extra space between parking spaces.

Wheelchair users need more space to enter and exit their cars. Often they have some modification on the car to enter and exit easier. Some wheelchair users use the side doors, others have a van and use the backdoor.
