Wheelchair users prefer platforms that are accessible from more sides. They should on the level of the bus/tram. Another option is to lower the place where the bus/tram stops so there is no need for a platform anymore. Or the platform don’t have to be so high anymore.

Getting on the bus/tram without help is very difficult for wheelchair users. Often bus stops don’t have platforms on the same level as the bus/tram, making it almost impossible to get on the bus/tram. Bus/tram stops with platforms are most of the times not accessible or only from one side.
